At the moment, there are two variants kown to cause the coat colour red/yellow: e1 and e2.\nThe variant e1 could be found in all breeds whereas the variant e2 could only be found in the breed Australian Cattle Dog. Therefore, both tests (e1 and e2) are recommended for the breed Australian Cattle Dog.
